At a training conference I recently attended we talked a lot about the colour wheel and different colour schemes.
Here's a Pantone Universe colour of the year 'Tangerine Tango' inspired shadow look using a triadic colour scheme!
Apply foundation all over and concealer in areas of the concern and set with a translucent powder.
Buff bronzer through the backs of cheeks, temples and hairline, and apply a pinky blush further back on the cheeks.
Pat an eyeshadow primer all over the lid before smoothing on a purple cream base from lash line to crease. The purple cream will help our shadows come out more vibrantly!
Blend a bright purple shadow high through the crease and onto the entire lid concentrating the colour on both the outer and inner corners.
Press a bright tangerine pigment onto the centre of the lid directly above the iris and gently blend the edges.
Gently blend a green eyeshadow alone the lower lash line and lightly blend the colour up and out to meet the purple shadow on the outside corner of the eye. This will help to lift the eye and give the shadow a slight cat like shape!
Rim the upper and lower waterlines (inside of the eye). Remember to wrap around the inner corners of the eyes and smudge a little into the lower lashes/lash line on the outer corners of the eyes. Apply lots of mascara!
Finish the look with a complimentary light nude pink gloss or tinted lip balm!
